I have just recently discovered photographer Millie Holloman's blog, and I really love her work. She is extremely talented and has photographed events that I am sure you will be seeing profiled here. However, I was particularly drawn to a pictures she took of a friend's table set for a dinner party.
Its simple sophistication got me thinking about weddings, and cost, and how I am like so many brides who long for all things beautiful, but don't have the budget to support my visions of grandeur. This table makes me think of good food and wine, celebrating with friends and family, and remembering that the decorating is fun, but the marriage is what counts. So, I thought this table setting would be inspiring to those who are looking to create simple sophistication, but aren't looking to spend the down payment on their house in the process!
